The challenge: The store took more than six seconds to load on a phone, and the server alone needed 4.5 seconds to answer.
What we did: We moved the store to our hosting, added caching and removed the code and plugins it did not need.

Questions about hosting.

Why is my website slow?+

Usually for one of three reasons: the server answers slowly, the pages carry heavy images, or too many plugins and scripts load on every page. We measure all three before we change anything.

Shared, managed or dedicated: which do I need?+

Shared hosting suits small sites: you share a server with others and pay the least. Managed hosting gives you your own space on a server, and we look after it. A dedicated server is a whole machine for one busy store or site.

Does my hosting have to be in the EU?+

The law does not force it. Keeping customer data on EU servers avoids the extra rules for sending personal data abroad. We offer servers in the EU and outside it, so the server can be close to your buyers.

Will my site go down when it moves to you?+

We plan the move so that it does not. We copy the site, test it on the new server and only then switch the address. The switch is usually visible within hours and can take up to two days to reach everyone, and the old server stays on until it has.

Can you host a site you did not build?+

Yes. We check it first, tell you what we find, and move it for you.
